The mission of the Garden of the Goddesses has always been to present opportunities for creating community. If you've been to any of the Garden offerings, you've certainly heard me speak passionately about the importance of women gathering.
Women inspiring Women!
Women empowering Women!
Women supporting Women!
These messages are constantly at the forefront of my thoughts because we are the nurturers, teachers, medicine women, and the story keepers ~ even if we've not fully remembered the gentle strength we hold as leaders in these ways. We are the gatherers...and there is so much forgotten power in that!
What greater gift to offer the world than to be the beacon for safe and loving spaces of home, learning, healing, and remembrance?
I've been asked many times if I have any intention of making the Garden of the Goddesses offerings any larger. The answer is emphatically "no" ... the magic is in the safety of the small container the Garden provides. As one participant said, "It's like bringing back the fireside chats" ... I love that! And yes, yes it is! I think perhaps what the questioners mean is "How will I reach more people?" ...because I am a small, word of mouth movement. I've spent a lot of time asking myself similar questions, especially considering I am surrounded by some of the most inspiring, strong, empathetic women, each with an incredible sense of purpose ~ the kind that helps humanity by leading the way in healing mind, body, soul and earth! I see that we are all trying to make a difference in the world. That's what we need more of... positive change and opportunities for getting those messages out there.
And this is how I dreamed up the idea of a series called Tuesdays in the Garden! It was a way to share space in the garden with incredible women sharing their passions and expertise! In short, Tuesdays in the Garden is a women-led series offering information and learning opportunities on a variety of valuable subjects related to health and wellness, spirituality, home, and the creative! Each week a different presenter will be sharing via demonstration, presentation or what I like to refer to as a "She-Ted Talk"!
When I first messaged a small group of women about this opportunity I wasn't really sure what to expect. Would it be met with mediocre energy? Would I feel like I was begging people to see the value in the concept? I was thrilled to discover there was lots of interest in sharing and my heart has been so filled up with all the sweet comments of how important and needed this type of sharing is! Putting this series together felt nothing short of magical blossoming!!! The series starts January 14th, happening 7-8 PM CST on ZOOM and I surely hope you will be joining us! Please click on the link below for more information and to check out the quality of the content being offered.
But most importantly... please share with the women in your life. Truly, word of mouth is how the Garden blooms.
