Reflecting on 2025

This year was not just the closing of a chapter but more like having reached the conclusion of a book I've been carrying around for a long while, dog-earing its pages, making notes in the margins, finding satisfying truths for myself that weren't easy but exactly what I needed. I've had years like this before and I felt their weight. This one was a doozy for sure, but I leaned into close relationships this year and counted on my community. I am so grateful I trusted myself to receive the support of others. I remember all too well a time when I did not know how to ask for or accept help. And I know I made the very best out of a tough year!

There has been so much change that I'm not even going to make a single assumption about or assign any bold hopes to 2026. I'm just going to settle in and let it be what it's going to be. I took this photo (above) years ago. When I came across the door, slightly ajar, I remember wondering to myself "was it in the process of closing or opening?" It felt like the perfect image for my end-of-year wrap up post. It represents a beginning and an ending.

I'm standing at the threshold, feeling light and ready.

Best Wishes In the New Year, Goddesses!
